Dear Bride and Groom:
Thank you for your interest in having me officiate at your wedding. I’m
looking forward to helping you create a ceremony that is meaningful, beautiful, stress-free and specifically designed for you.
Let me tell you something about my ceremonies:
The weddings I do are all individually created for each wedding couple.
Your ceremony, as we create it together, will reflect your personal beliefs
and desires. All ceremony text is approved by you prior to your ceremony.
There are never any religious or marital counseling requirements. Of course,
should you desire, I am available to you as a counseling resource and a
resource of information on spiritual practices and wedding ceremonies.
If you two come from differing spiritual backgrounds, I will help you
blend these traditions to create a ceremony that is meaningful to you both.
By the way, your family, children and friends are welcomed and encouraged to
take parts in the ceremony, as you see fit -- whether they read a poem, or
sing a song, or help with specific parts of the ceremony.
In addition to my ceremony and rehearsal duties, I am also available to
help you
with other wedding day questions. And, should you desire, I can
also refer you to other wedding professionals through my affiliation with the
Central Coast Wedding Professionals.
I look forward to meeting with you to discuss your ceremony. There is no
charge or obligation for these meetings and you have an opportunity to look
over copies of ceremonies I have previously created and performed. However,
if you live out of the area, we can communicate by email, phone, fax and/or
“snail” mail.
After you book my services, your wedding date is reserved and confirmed
in my calendar. You will then receive sample vows and a variety of ceremonies to use as resources for your own wedding. I am also always
available to answer any questions you might have. In addition to conducting
the ceremony, I am happy to be part of your rehearsal and to work with your
other wedding professionals. After your wedding, I will gift you with a
beautiful copy of your vows as a memento. Always, my goal is that your
ceremony be enjoyable and stress free for you.
Your wedding is very special to me and I look forward to helping you
create your special day and to officiating at your ceremony.
Please accept my very best wishes for your happiness,
Reverend Stephanie Raphael
Interfaith, Non-Denominational Minister
